Brand URL
With Quizify's Brand URL feature, your organization gets its own branded public web address for all published funnels. Instead of a generic link, your audience sees a URL that reflects your identity — like nike.quizify.io — making every funnel feel professional and trustworthy.
What is a Brand URL?
A Brand URL is a custom subdomain that appears before the main domain in your funnel link. For example, in nike.quizify.io, the word nike is your brand label.
All published funnels under your organization share the same branded address:
https://yourbrand.quizify.io/funnel/your-funnel-link
The Brand URL belongs to your organization — not to an individual user. Every team member publishing funnels under your organization shares the same branded address.
Shared Subdomain vs. Custom Subdomain
Quizify offers two types of Brand URLs depending on your plan.
Shared Subdomain (Free & Basic plans)
Shared subdomains are labels provided by Quizify — such as quiz, form, or survey. Multiple organizations can use the same shared label; they are not exclusive to your brand.
Example: quiz.quizify.io/funnel/your-link
Available on: Free and Basic plans
Best for: Getting started and testing funnels before upgrading
Custom Subdomain (Growth plan and above)
A custom subdomain lets you choose a unique label that belongs exclusively to your organization. Nobody else can use the same label while it is active on your account.
Example: nike.quizify.io/funnel/your-link
Available on: Growth plan and above
Best for: Businesses that want a polished, branded experience for their audience
Plan | Type | Example |
Free / Basic | Shared Subdomain | quiz.quizify.io/funnel/... |
Growth and above | Custom subdomain | nike.quizify.io/funnel/... |
How to Set Up Your Brand URL
From Settings
Go to Settings in your Quizify dashboard.
Click the Brand URL tab.
Under Choose Brand URL, select Shared Subdomain to pick from the dropdown, or select Custom subdomain to type your own unique label (Growth plan required).
An availability badge updates in real time — green means available, red means taken or not allowed.
Click Save Changes. A confirmation dialog will show your current URL and new URL side by side. Review the change, then click Update Brand URL to confirm or Keep Current URL to go back.
From the Publish Page
When you are editing a funnel, click Publish from the left sidebar. At the top right of the Share the Link section, you will see the Change Brand URL button with a pencil icon. Clicking it opens the Brand URL form directly on the same page — no navigation needed. After saving, all share links, embed codes, and iframe URLs on the Publish page refresh automatically to reflect the new address.
Note :
Only organization owners and admins can see and use the Change URL option. Team members with viewer or editor roles will see the current URL but cannot edit it.
As you type your desired label, Quizify checks availability instantly:
Status | What it means |
✅ This subdomain is available (green) | The label is free to use |
✅ Shared label — available (green) | Valid shared label available on your plan |
❌ This subdomain is already in use (red) | Another organization is actively using this label |
❌ Reserved subdomain (red) | Reserved by Quizify — cannot be used |
❌ Subdomain not allowed (red) | Matches a blocked pattern |
❌ This is a shared subdomain (red) | You typed a shared label while in Custom subdomain mode — switch to Shared Subdomain to use it |
Labels must be 3 to 24 characters, use only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens, and cannot start or end with a hyphen.
Confirming Your Brand URL Change
Any time you click Save Changes — whether switching shared labels, switching modes, or setting a custom subdomain — Quizify shows a confirmation dialog before applying the update.
The dialog displays:
Your current URL and your new URL side by side so you can compare before confirming.
A reminder that previously shared links, embeds, and QR codes may show a redirect message to visitors, and that you should update your shared links for a smoother transition.
Click Update Brand URL to proceed, or Keep Current URL to cancel.
What Happens When You Change Your Brand URL?
Changing your Brand URL updates the link for all published funnels under your organization. Quizify handles this smoothly so your audience is never left with a broken link.
Page Moved
When someone visits your old URL — whether from a saved email, QR code, ad, or social media post — they will see a Page Moved notice showing the updated link. This works automatically; you don't need to do anything extra.
Embeds and Iframes
If your funnel is embedded on an external website, Brand URL changes are handled automatically:
The embed script detects the correct branded host from its own URL — no hardcoded addresses.
If a visitor's browser hits an old embedded funnel that has since moved to a new subdomain, the iframe adjusts its height correctly so nothing appears broken on your website.
Cross-subdomain resize and completion events continue to fire correctly after a subdomain change.
What Happens if You Downgrade Your Plan?
If your plan changes and you no longer have access to a custom subdomain, Quizify automatically switches your organization to a shared subdomain. Your funnels stay live the entire time — nothing is unpublished or deleted.
Your custom subdomain is released and replaced with a shared label.
A Page Moved notice is shown to anyone visiting your old URL, pointing them to the new address.
All your funnels remain published and accessible at the new address.
To get your custom subdomain back, upgrade your plan and set it again from Settings → Brand URL.
Conclusion
Brand URL gives your organization a consistent, professional presence across every funnel you publish. Whether you are on a shared subdomain to get started or a fully custom address on the Growth plan, Quizify makes it easy to set up and manage at any time.
To get started, head to Settings → Brand URL in your Quizify dashboard, or click Change Brand URL directly inside the Publish page on any funnel.
